low budget rubbish, mixed with hilarity.

ninja vixens is a film that does not take itself seriously. From the corny storyline to the gratuitous nudity, this short 'ninja' film somehow manages to make us believe that a total of three four people were attempting, and succeeding at overtaking the entirety of Japan.

However, despite the pointless first half of the film, there are some truly hilarious, Pokemon inspired moments such as the legendary 'boob needle' attack, another excuse just to put some breasts on screen.

Along with the final 'flame of seduction' which for some reason renders our hero completely naked for no apparent reason, we are left with the 'Lion King' in the middle of a terrible special effect, screaming 'I'm on fire'.

Truly Genius.

With names like 'Master Dragon', 'Dark Mist', and 'Lion King' you really can't go wrong.

But seriously, only watch if you want a couple of laughs, and to see Japanese cleavage, as this film has no acting skills, no budget, no point, and no redeeming camera work at all.

EDIT: Despite this scathing review, me and my flatmate had a good laugh watching it. Clocking in at a modest 70 minutes, it stays around just enough to enjoy itself, and then proceeds to end before it outstays its welcome. Trashy, but fun stuff

Not as bad as most viewers say

Deuces Wild has gotten a lot of unfavourable comments by viewers and critics. I didn't think it was such a bad movie, especially considering the budget the producers and director had to work with. With the limited funds to make this film, the scenes were filmed with very few takes - giving it a 'play' feel.

The story reminds me of "The Outsiders" and "West Side Story" - which I found to be one of the down sides of the movie, but I still liked it overall.

Stephen Dorff gives a great performance as Leon, the Deuces leader. Supporting actor Mr. Renfro did not impress me however. A couple of the actors from "The Sopranos" play supporting roles. Drea De Matteo looks awesome in this film.

Despite Some Lapses In To Manipulation It's A Thriller With Humanity. It Misses Out An Important Point Though

John Matthews the owner of a trucking company finishes work one day and comes home to find his teenage son Jason has been arrested for supplying drugs and is facing between 10 and 50 years imprisonment . Jason can get a reduced sentence if he supplies names of other drug dealers but Jason has no knowledge of other dealers . John Matthews then decides to infiltrate local drug gangs so he can inform on them to the DEA and get his son out of prison

Considering it stars Dwayne " the Rock " Johnson you could be forgiven for thinking you're watching something that firmly belongs on the straight to DVD shelf but SNITCH is very much a action thriller with very human drama . Indeed very early in the film when John Matthews stops to help one of his workers , Daniel James load bags of cement you can't help thinking that you're going to be watching a very pious and whiter than white man portrayed as a poor unfortunate victim . The film perhaps mindful that the entire situation has been created by some teenager buying a massive bag of MDMA second guess that the audience might not be too sympathetic to his plight so becomes slightly guilty of tugging the heart strings by gnashing of teeth in angst ridden domestic scenes and manipulative music . It could have been even more over done but thankfully it doesn't go overboard , but you'll still notice a slightly manipulative agenda at play

That said Johnson is a revelation here and I was struck as to how effective he was in the role of John Matthews . Okay I doubt if he'll be picking up an Oscar nomination next year but he manages to create an empathy with the audience and where SNITCH works best is when it gets to the heart of the plot where Matthews infiltrates the street gangs and finds himself being elevated in to the higher echelons of a Mexican drug cartel and it's at this point you know things are going to work out very badly for him and his agenda is going to be found out as he finds himself stuck between a rock ( Sorry guys ) and a hard place

If there's a problem it's not so much with the film itself but with the reality of drug laws in America . If drugs were legalized and provided by the state this would have solved many of the problems illustrated here . Throughout the film you'll be shouting at the screen that it's the fault of unenforceable legislation that created many of the scenes seen here and amazingly the film ends with a caption pointing out that first time drug dealers often get a sentence longer than many rapists , robbers and child molesters . You don't however get the impression the film is making any really intelligent point about the criminalization of drugs and the caption seems mainly added as an afterthought . That said SNITCH is an impressive enough thriller that has more going for it than many other recent thrillers . This is down to its humanity

Bloody Funny, at least to a long time Eddie fan.

I've been an Eddie Izzard fan for quite a long time (As has the friend I watched this film with) and we approached it from that stand point. In fact as we picked it we couldn't help but recite "it's the 131st transvestite brigade, parachuting behind enemy line with fabulous make-up and a fabulous gun." Taking it as that style of campy send up of war we found it rather funny, of course it was cheesy and full of plot holes, but that was part of the appeal. "I have to get my mousy-kins!" I mean if this film wasn't laughing at itself it should have been. Yes Eddie turns in a brilliant performance from an emotional stand point as well, as does David Birkin, but their performances add to the humour not over shadow it. Yes from the stand point of making the world a better place this film did not accomplish a single blow for understanding, but not everything has to be a statement for the cause. Some things are allowed to be funny for humour's sake, and those of us who get that the stereotypically wooden characters are there to make a point find them all the more funny. Give it a try.

Engaging plot and quite brutal

With Master Yan refusing to sell, Ogama continues his plotting, using deceit, betrayal and ultimately bloody violence to get what he wants.

After seeing some modern films which appear to be referencing the films of the Shaw Brothers, I decided to make a bit of effort to actually watch some of the originals and, as such, I have come to a few of them with the rather "tongue-in-cheek" approach of modern films in mind. It isn't that I have expected total cheese but certainly some element of cheesiness is in my mind when I click play. As a result some of them have taken me by surprise and The Deadly Knives (Luoye Fei dao) is one such film. The plot begins with a very abrupt setup as we quickly learn Ogawa wants this land (in a scene we he says this and then the scene ends!) and that our two main characters are in love. From there the film gets better with the plot and I found the various betrayals and twists to be pretty engaging. What helped this is that there is very little comedy (maybe one or two moments) but mostly it is very brutal. The fight scenes are spread out but are always pretty bloody and intense but more noticeably there is a real thread of sexual violence running through the film. Rape is implied and although some nudity is in here, generally it is shown in a fair way that is not exploitative – the damage it does and the cruelty of it is clear.

The fight sequences are well done, in particular the very large sequence which closes the film; the camera is steady and allows you to see what is happening and this is appreciated as it really lets you appreciate the coordination of all the individual movements. It may not have the wire-fu excesses but the complexity and intensity of it is more than enough. The cast do the action well but also handled the acting side too. Yun Ling plays Fei without a lot of depth and character but he makes a solid central character even if he overacts his despair a bit too much. Li Ching is good as well and convinces more in her pain. The best of the bunch for me was Lily Li's Chiao-Chiao (or Jiao Jiao as my subtitles had it) as she brought character with a small look (her feelings for her foster brother) and also her genuine fear of the violence against her – it was a brutal performance. The villains of the film are enjoyably cruel and well delivered so that they are excessive but not to the point of becoming pantomime characters.

I enjoyed how engaging and brutal this film was, it is not perfect but the action is good, the plot has meaning and consequence and the narrative provides plenty of brutality and twists to keep the attention.

Worse movie I have ever seen, and I have seen House of the Dead and Gigli

It was almost worth sitting through this entire god-awful "film" just to know that I can never experience anything as bad as this again. Acting - 0, script - 0, fight scenes - 0, male lead - 0 (cheddar bob from eight mile as a suave war hero who gets the girl), Nadia Bjorlin - 10 (She is gorgeous and not a terrible actress). This is the criteria I used to average it out to a two. I lost count but I believe ever movie cliché, ever, is in this movie. When the driver that supposedly killed her father miraculously shows up at the end to race against her, from out of nowhere it cemented the previous statement. Plus he just shows up for no reason. He was never even mentioned before. I don't know what else to say here. Just watch it when it comes out on TV in a couple years. At least that way some of it will be edited out for commercials.

Kick-Ass Action

I'll admit, I'm a zombie fan. This film's premise reminded me of one of the "night of the living dead" comic books that came out a while back. an infected passenger gets aboard a flight, which, when it lands, disgorges all of the now flesh-hungry passengers on an unsuspecting London. in this case, we get to see what happens in-between, while they're still in the air. lots of running, screaming, chomping and that great zombie hiss we all know so well. it's well-done, suspenseful and delightfully gory. for me, anyway, it blew "snakes on a plane" right out of the water. it was obviously done on a small budget, but there's not too much sign of that on-screen. the best bits: the zombie nun, and the hole that somehow gets ripped open between the cabin and the lower deck. i lost count of the number of people being dragged screaming into & then jumping out of that hole. nice twisty sort of ending, too. acting so-so, makeup FX above average. recommended highly.

Boring,expectable,noisy flick

You have gone through many films like this right from MGR,RAJINI,KAMAL,JAISANKAR,EVEN GEMENI GANESAN.These films are creating bad impression on Tamil films.only good thing is no heroine for other Ajith.I surprised how saran finalized this script.Ajith looks good and dull sometimes.The reason may be his diet due to his fat look in previous films.Try to challenge Vijay through Dialouge and songs.comedy is irritating.songs are not up-to mark.Background score is noisy and irritating.Sujatha did the same role for many heroes with same story.Not a enjoyable movie for Ajith fans too.Better next time. my rating is 3/10
